Delicious full English breakfast, the highlight of my stay.
For a place that touts really good service, I wasn't greeted with the warmth I expected. The tea and biscuits served at arrival felt rather lackluster rather than cute.

We were in a hurry, so stayed here only for 1 night, yet everything was superb. The breakfast was delicious and great, the choice of fresh fruit and scrambled eggs. The hotel was set in a remote area so close to the river to the fields, the garden, and the fields.
Everything great.

Waking up to fine views of sheep and lambs in the fields was a good start to the day. The hospitality from Di and Dave.
The only hiccup was that the shower head was not adjustable and faced sideways, making it a bit awkward for rinsing off properly.

great hospitality but some room details need attention
Di and Dave were really good hosts. The full English breakfast was good, with fresh ingredients and perfectly cooked sausages. The views from our room of the serene river and the surrounding landscape were amazing.
The only issue was a slight musty smell in the room, which detracted from the overall comfort.
